Vitality T20 Blast Cricket Betting Tips: Weekly Preview
Pre-tournament favourites Notts have endured a nightmare start to this season’s Blast, losing five from five. Can they bounce back? We will outline why they can in this T20 Blast cricket tips preview

- Vitality Blast, North and South Groups

Nottinghamshire have lost some valuable experience in the last couple of years. Australian veteran Dan Christian has gone, ex-England duo Jake Ball and Samit Patel too. Their former captain Steven Mullaney is also concentrating on coaching more than playing.
Unfortunately for the 2017 and 2018 champions, so far this season, it’s shown in losing all of their North Group fixture to sit bottom of the table.
It has been one heck of a fall from grace for a team who many bookies had as favourites for the title before a ball was bowled.
But they are still a better team than their results suggest, and they should bounce back against Worcestershire, another team who have won this title in the past (2018) but have made a mixed start this term with two wins from five.
I also expect Birmingham to hit back against Yorkshire. Winners of the last two North Group tables, they won their first two and lost their last two. Yorkshire have started well with three wins from four, but I can see them coming unstuck at Edgbaston.
I would be taking a win double on Notts and Birmingham, available at 2/1 with bet365.

T20 Vitality Blaast Betting Tips
Six-hitting fun for Somerset
Somerset have hit 35 sixes to Kent’s 15 so far. The pair meet at Taunton on Friday.
Kent actually beat Somerset at Canterbury last week, but I’d be surprised if they do it again.
Bet365, via their boosted bet builders, are offering 2/1 on Somerset to hit the most sixes and for Tom Banton and Tom Kohler-Cadmore to hit at least one six apiece. They have hit eight between them so far, albeit Banton has only hit two of those.
He is in decent form, though, with scores of 26, 24 and 49 not out in his last three matches.
In the same match, Kent leg-spinner Matthew Parkinson - he has started the competition brightly with seven wickets - is 3/1 with PaddyPower to be his side’s top wicket-taker in the match. I’d be having a crack at that for a bowler who is his side’s leading wicket-taker so far in the competition.
Betfair are offering a juicy 5/1 on Derbyshire opener Aneurin Donald to be their top run-scorer at home to Northamptonshire. That has to be over-priced, and I would say that’s the standout bet in this T20 Blast cricket tips preview.
He has just scored 84 off 41 opening the batting in their last match against Yorkshire, a defeat. The Welshman has the ability and power to win this bet quickly.
Nightly acca to finish
Surrey and Somerset look strong in the South and are amongst those locked on six points at the top. It would be a surprise if they are not quarter-final bound with my pre-tournament tip for the South, Hampshire.
Anyway, I will add Surrey and Somerset wins on Friday, at home to Gloucestershire and Kent respectively, to the wins for Birmingham and Notts to make it a juicy 6/1 four-fold with BetVictor.
