Vitality T20 Blast Cricket Betting Tips

It’s been a busy start to this season’s T20 Blast, with some counties having played three games in four days from Thursday to Sunday to get their campaigns up and running.
We’ve had a quieter midweek, but it’s another full-on weekend ahead.
There are eight fixtures scheduled for Friday evening - four in each group - and I’ve picked out at least one bet from five of those fixtures.
I can’t get to all eight because the odds aren’t out for Essex v Glamorgan, Derbyshire v Notts and Northamptonshire v Worcestershire yet given Glamorgan, Notts and Worcester are all in action on Thursday.

Durham can go on a successful Fox hunt
Firstly, let’s start with a short-priced winner. Champions Somerset are 8/11 with William Hill to win at Kent. That represents some value, despite being odds on. Both teams lost their opener - Somerset against Surrey and Kent against Hampshire.
Somerset are a super T20 side and should go close this summer. They are likely to have too much for Kent.
I’m not prepared to give up on my pre-tournament title tip, Durham, yet. Clearly, they have an early issue to contend with having been bowled out for 75 and 101 in two opening defeats. But I am convinced they are better than that.

Back-to-back champions in four-day cricket and top of this season’s Division One table, they have started the Blast in similar fashion with two wins from two.
On Friday, they host Sussex at the Oval, a game I expect them to win. But Sussex fast bowler Tymal Mills is 13/8 to take two or more wickets in this fixture with bet365.
That’s a price worth taking considering the experienced left-armer has claimed two four-wicket hauls in their opening matches - a win and a defeat - against Gloucestershire and Glamorgan.
I like the look of Lancashire’s New Zealand overseas batter Tom Bruce to be their top scorer in their home game against Birmingham Bears. He hasn’t had a great summer so far with the Red Rose at Emirates Old Trafford, but he has posted scores of 73, 46, 43, 31 and 35 in his last eight innings.
His 35 was in their win against Derbyshire on Sunday, batting at four. I think Lancashire’s 22-game unbeaten run in group matches at Emirates Old Trafford may be threatened in this fixture, so a couple of early wickets may give him time to secure at 9/2 shot with bet365 to be the Lightning’s top bat.
Ollie is over Priced for Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire host perennial challengers Hampshire. Glos lost their opening game, while Hampshire have lost one, won one.
Glos all-rounder Ollie Price - a top-order bat who bowls off-spin - is a whopping 13/1 with betfair to be his county’s top batter.
Stats don’t tell the full story. He’s a young player who has only played 14 matches with a top score of 46. He scored seven batting at four in their opening night defeat to Sussex at Hove. But he opened the batting in a second-team game at Worcester the other day and crashed 96 off 67 balls.
Since the majority of his career T20 appearances last summer, his career has progressed significantly. He’s represented the England Lions over the winter. He’s slight in build but a clean striker.
