France Euro 2024 Betting Offers, Odds and Predictions
We have a range of Euro 2024 betting offers, enhanced odds and betting tips available across every team as we build up to the tournament in Germany. This page will feature everything you need to know about France in the build-up and throughout the tournament, as we offer regular tips and the latest odds ahead of each game.
France head into Euro 2024 amongst the favourites to go on and win the entire competition. Les Bleus have one of the best all-round squads in world-football and arguably the best player in the world right now in Kylian Mbappe.
Despite the consistent quality produced over the years in France, though, they have not won the Euros in 24 years - something they will be desperate to change this summer.

We will bring you the latest France Euro 2024 betting offers, enhanced odds and tips across the tournament when it kicks off on June 14.
France Euro 2024 Top Tip
On paper, France are expected to dominate Group D. They have been drawn alongside the Netherlands but after beating them twice in qualifying, they should have little issue picking up a result vs Ronald Koeman’s side in June to top their group.
This would open up a fairly easy path to the Euro 2024 final, with France set to be favourites against any side they face in the knockout phase.
England are perhaps France’s biggest threat this summer, but Les Bleus beat the Three Lions en route to the 2022 World Cup final and the two sides would not meet until the semi-final this summer if they both win their respective groups anyway. Should that happen, France would be favourites to get the better of Gareth Southgate’s men once more and book their place in yet another final.

France’s Road to Qualification
As is so often the case, France dominated their European Championship qualifying group to clinch top spot.
Didier Deschamps’ side were drawn alongside Netherlands, Greece, Republic of Ireland and Gibraltar in Group B for the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
During those qualifiers, France won seven, drew one (vs Greece) and lost zero. They scored 29 (including 14 in one game vs Gibraltar) and conceded just three in their eight games to book a spot in the finals.
When are France’s Euro 2024 games?
France will play three Euro 2024 group games. The opponents and dates can be found below:
- Group C - Austria vs France, June 17.
- Group C - Netherlands vs France, June 21.
- Group C - France vs Poland, June 25.
France’s Road to the Final
Anyone who is looking at backing France for success will want to know how they can get to the final. Their paths are determined by where they finish in the group, either first, second or third - and here are the various permutations that they will have to navigate.
Round of 16
- If France win Group D - Their last 16 game will be against the runner up of Group F, which will most likely be Czech Republic. This game will be played on June 30.
- If France are runners up in Group D - Their last 16 game will come against the runner-up of Group E - most likely Slovakia or Romania. This game will be played on July 2.
- If France finish third in Group D (and accumulate enough points to advance to the knockout stage) - Their last 16 game will be against either the winner of Group E - Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, TBD - or the winner of Group C - England, Denmark, Slovenia, Serbia. These games will be played on June 29 or July 2.
Quarter-Finals
- If France win Group D - They will face the winner of the last-16 clash between the Group E winner vs one of the third-place teams from Group A/B/C/D. On paper, their most likely opponent will be Belgium. This game will be played on July 6.
- If France are runners up in Group D - They will face the winner of the last-16 clash between the Group F winner vs one of the 3rd-place teams from Group A/B/C/. Their most likely opponent would be Portugal (coming in as Group F winners). This game will be played on July 5.
- If France finish third in Group D (and accumulate enough points to advance to the knockout stage) - They will either face the winner of the last-16 clash between Group A’s winner and C’s runners-up or the winner of the game between Group A’s runner-up and Group B’s runner-up. These games will be played on July 5 or July 6.
Semi-Finals
- If France win Group D - Many assumptions have to be made by the time we get to this stage, but if things go as expected, France will face either England, Switzerland or Italy in the semi-final. This game will be played on July 10.
- If France are runners up in Group D - Again, a lot of assumptions need to be made here but France’s most likely opponents are Germany or Spain. This game will be played on July 9.
- If France finish third in Group D (and accumulate enough points to advance to the knockout stage) - Given how the third-place teams are put into the knockout phase, France could face any of the teams mentioned above. These games will be played on July 9 or July 10.
Final
- If France win Group D - On the opposing side of the draw in this scenario would be the likes of Germany, Spain, or Portugal - of said clubs, Spain seem the most likely to make it to the final. The final will be played on July 14.
- If France are runners up in Group D - On the opposing side of the draw in this scenario would be the likes of Belgium, Netherlands, England or Italy.
- If France finish third in Group D (and accumulate enough points to advance to the knockout stage) - France could be put onto either side of the draw depending on how they rank among the third-place teams, meaning they could face any of the big hitters we have mentioned above.
France’s Key Players
Kylian Mbappe - France’s success at Euro 2024 will largely depend on how Kylian Mbappe plays. The 25-year-old has already helped France win one World Cup. He also finished as the top scorer at the 2022 World Cup when he scored a hat-trick in the final vs Argentina. On his day, Mbappe is the best player in the world and can win France their first European Championship in 24 years if he plays anywhere close to his best in Germany.
Olivier Giroud - While Mbappe is France’s MVP, Olivier Giroud still has a crucial role to play at Euro 2024. Giroud is perhaps one of the most underrated strikers in Europe and despite being 37, continues to come up with crucial goals in big games for club and country. Giroud is France’s all-time leading goalscorer with 56 goals at the time of writing and is expected to add to that tally this summer.
Aurelien Tchouameni - France’s success at the 2018 World Cup was, in no small part, down to the midfield pairing of N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba. But with Kante past his prime and Pogba banned, the onus has fallen to Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni to help Les Bleus dominate games from midfield. The now 24-year-old put on a stellar showing at the 2022 World Cup and has improved as a player since then.
