Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe Runner’s & Odds
The current favourite for the 2023 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is the unbeaten Ace Impact. Trained by Jean-Claude Rouget, the son of Cracksman remains unbeaten, having won all five of his career starts, including the Prix du Jockey Club.
Hukum is also set to head to Longchamp for trainer Owen Burrows after a stylish victory in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot, and he’s the current second favourite in the betting.
A good draw at Longchamp is vital - the most coveted numbers are the lowest ones, next to the rail, with the horses drawn into them having the shortest distance to travel.
The most successful number since 1980 is 2, followed very closely by 6, which is the stall Alpinista was victorious in last year’s race, and the stall draw for this year’s race will be on 28 September.
The Arc is the primary focus on Sunday, but five other Group 1 contests are also taking place, including the Prix De L’Abbaye and the Prix De L’Opera.
