2024 Snooker Championship League Tips - Saturday, June 15
Dominic Dale and Jamie Jones feature in Saturday’s action at the Snooker Championship League
We bagged 2/3 tips on Friday at Evens and 15/8 from the Snooker Championship League, as Un-Nooh swept aside Mark Joyce and Jackson Page and Andrew Higginson split a 2-2 draw in their best-of-4 frame clash.
We return to the baize on Saturday afternoon as Dominic Dale, Jamie Jones and others attempt to grab some of the Euro 2024 attention back to snooker table.
Groups 29 and 30 take centre stage in Leicester with 17-year-old Stan Moody also making an appearance.
Let’s check out our Snooker Championship League tips for Saturday plus the best snooker betting offers from the top online bookmakers.
Dominic Dale to beat Dylan Emery
This all-Welsh clash looks weighted favourably towards Dale as he attempts to stunt the progression of 23-year-old Dylan Emery in the opening Round Robin fixture.
Dale hasn’t got past the Round Robin in his last three attempts, but after a decent season including two rankings quarter-finals, the “Spaceman” isn’t the worst bet to take off in Leicester.
Emery won two of his three matches at last year’s event but narrowly missed out on advancing, but the young Welshman would have taken a lot of heart after going winless in 2021 and 2022.
Dale’s experience should get him over the line here, even if there are a few drops of drama along the way.
Jamie Jones to beat Chris Totten 3-0
Scot Chris Totten is still at the very start of his professional snooker career and it will be a surprise if he is able to land a glove on Jamie Jones.
Earlier this month at the Qualifying School Totten won a 2-year card to return to the professional World Snooker Tour, so will be looking to make the most of his return to the baize in Leicester.
Jones has had relative success here in the past, and despite a poor season on tour across the 2023-24 season, the Welshman is a better player than his No. 41 in the world ranking suggests.
Totten could be competitive, but not enough to pinch a frame with a heavy visit.
Stan Moody to beat Ben Woollaston
All eyes will be on 17-year-old Stan Moody this week as he attempts to make some waves on the WST.
3rd round outings at the Snooker Shootout and Northern Ireland Open will have done the “Action” the world of good as he looks to advance in the men’s game, but might have his work cut out against Ben Woollaston – the world No. 56 who has escaped his group in back-to-back years thanks to five wins from six and a draw.
But we’re looking at Moody here as a 2/1 underdog as he makes his first big splash of what could be an exciting Luke-Litter-esque season. No pressure!
