Arsenal injury news

Here is all the latest Arsenal injury news ahead of their meeting with Manchester City.

Bukayo Saka withdrew from the England squad last week. The Three Lions revealed in a statement that the winger had ‘reported to St George’s Park with an injury and was unable to participate in training’.

Saka has returned to Arsenal for treatment and it is understood that he is suffering from a minor muscle issue.

Jurrien Timber made his return to first-team training at the end of February having suffered a serious knee injury in the first game of the Premier League season. Recent reports have claimed that there is a chance Timber will be involved against Manchester City.

Gabriel Martinelli suffered a cut on his foot in the Gunners’ recent 6-0 Premier League win over Sheffield United. The winger was then spotted on crutches at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal beat Brentford. His current injury status is unknown ahead of the weekend.
