Arsenal Title Odds: Now 11/5 after Manchester United win

The Premier League title race rolls on as we head into the final week of the 2023/24 campaign.

Arsenal are currently top of the division and were in action on May 12 versus Manchester United.

The Gunners headed into the tie as favourites to pick up the win and when all was said and done, a 21st-minute strike from Leandro Trossard saw the north Londoners come out on top despite not playing close to their best.

Premier League Title Race: Current Odds

Liverpool spent much of the season battling for the Premier League title but after Manchester City and Arsenal won over the weekend, the Reds are now officially out of the title race.

As a result, the Premier League crown will now go to one of Arsenal or Manchester City. The Gunners are aiming to win their first title in 20 years, while favourites Manchester City are looking to pick up a record fourth.

  • Manchester City - 4/11
  • Arsenal - 11/5

Who will win the Premier League Title?

Arsenal (86 points +61 GD)

Arsenal are in the the midst of one of their best-ever Premier League campaigns and have already surpassed their 84-point total from last season when they bottled the title to Manchester City after a collapse in April.

This year, the Gunners have been much more consistent and have only lost one league game in 2024 (0-2 versus Aston Villa). And as shown in the 1-0 win over Manchester United, Mikel Arteta’s men are capable of picking up points even when they are nowhere close to their best - a sign of a true champion.

However, despite their valiant efforts across 2023/24 so far, the title remains out of their hands heading into the final week of the season. Arsenal are top of the league by one point with a two-better goal difference but Manchester City will knock them off top spot if they win their game in hand on May 14 versus Tottenham.

Arsenal’s remaining Premier League fixtures

  • Everton (H) May 19

Manchester City (85 points +59 GD)

Can Manchester City make it four in a row? No Premier League side has ever won the title in four consecutive seasons, with both the Manchester outfits the only two teams to secure three on the spin.

Manchester City are favourites to win the title once again as the final week of the campaign gets underway. However, Pep Guardiola’s side have to win their game in hand on the Gunners to go into the final gameweek on May 19 top of the table.

That game comes against Tottenham on Tuesday, a side the Citizens have failed to beat in their last two meetings. A draw versus Spurs would see City go level on points with Arsenal, but they would then have to improve their goal difference by three on the final day at minium to win the title if Arsenal do not lose or draw with Everton.

  • West Ham (H) May 19
