Austria v Turkey Betting Tips, Odds & Match Preview - Euro 2024
Austria and Turkey will duke it out on Tuesday evening in Leipzig, with the final of the Euro 2024 quarter-final spots up for grabs.
With many not giving Austria much of a hope before a ball was kicked at this year’s tournament, Ralf Rangnick’s men roared into the knockout phases after emerging top in a tough-looking Group D which also contained France and the Netherlands.
Turkey, meanwhile, qualified for the Round of 16 as runners-up in Group F, and they are looking to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 2008, the year they made it to the last four.
There will be some star quality on display, and Turkey’s hopes appear to rest on the shoulders of Arda Guler, who has already emerged as a hot prospect at Euro 2024.
To get you in the mood for this game, I have divulged a couple of Austria Turkey betting tips to accompany my match preview.

Austria v Turkey Match Preview
Austrian journey to continue
Against the Netherlands, Austria were direct and there was more intensity in midfield.
They were richly rewarded with a 3-2 win against the Oranje, and as mentioned, they have lived up to being the dark horses before the tournament started.
Marcel Sabitzer, who finally netted the Euros, was emblematic of the urgency that Austria have been playing with, and Turkey will need to show tactical nous if they wish to progress.
Turkey have provided glimpses of what they can produce, and they have only netted one fewer (five) than Austria in the group stage.
There are likely to be some cagey moments, and as such, I don’t expect it to be a high-scoring game.
I think Austria will come out on top in the 90 minutes, but they will win with Under 2.5 goals scored, and if you like the sound of that, BetVictor has you sorted with a tasty price of 31/10.
Marcel Sabitzer to get the ball rolling
As mentioned before, Sabitzer had to wait some time to get off the mark at the Euorpean Championships.
In fact, he was the first Austrian to play 10 matches or more at the Euros and his maiden goal came from his 22nd attempt.
Anyway, Sabitzer is the driving engine in midfield and he likes to get off a shot off, as well as thread an eye of a needle pass.
He will no doubt wish to add to his tally against Turkey, and in the goalscorer markets, you can get some decent odds on him to break the deadlock.
Parimatch has got this covered with an intriguing price of 7/1 for Sabitzer to open the scoring should you wish to explore further.
