Champions League Odds: Real Madrid 7/2 to Win 24/25 Title

Real Madrid lifted the Champions League title on Saturday night at Wembley, following a 2-0 success over Borussia Dortmund in the final.

Covering the current era, and before, when the competition was called the European Cup, Madrid have now won 15 titles, more than double the next best, and it’s their sixth title in the last 11 years.

Now the dust has settled on Saturday’s game, football betting sites have been quick to release odds for the 24/25 title, where Real Madrid have been installed as the 7/2 second favourites.

Real Madrid Show European Class on Saturday

Were Real Madrid at their best on Saturday? No I don’t think they were, but they got the job done. And that’s something we’ve seen from them a few times in Europe over the past decade.

The ability to stay in a game, take their chances when they come, and get over the line, is something that we often don’t associate with Real, because of the talent they have.

But they need to be applauded for both. The ability to wow us all, and score some magnificent goals that get us all on our feet, and also the ability to find a way, and get the job done.

Second best for the first half on Saturday, if not longer, but 2-0 winners, and in the process, putting their name on the trophy once again.

Mbappe to Strengthen the Winners this Summer

Of course, when thinking about the chances of Real Madrid next season, we have to mention the seemingly impending deal to take Kylian Mbappe to the club, which is expected to go through in the coming days.

Adding a talent like that is going to take Real to the next level in attack, and it will be fascinating to see how he links up with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr.

He may not be the only new arrival, though will no doubt take up a huge chunk of the budget. But it does seem highly likely that Real Madrid will enter next season’s Champions League with a better team than the one that has just lifted the trophy.
