Crawley Promotion Odds Evens for Wembley Final

We’ve not seen a score line as dominant as what we saw from Crawley over the past few days in a long time.

They won the first leg 3-0, the second leg 5-1, to make it an 8-1 aggregate success, and best of all, they did it against the playoff favourites MK Dons.

Following that huge win the Crawley promotion odds are now at Evens with Paddy Power, they travel to Wembley next Sunday to take on Crewe.

Crawley Promotion Odds

Before a ball was kicked in the playoffs, Crawley Town were the 11/2 outsiders to win promotion, and facing favourites MK Dons in the semi finals.

But as we’ve seen before, the playoffs do not always represent the league season, and that was certainly the case here.

Crawley defied those odds, and won 8-1 on aggregate to reach the Wembley final. They are now just one game away from League One.

The bookmakers are struggling to split them and their opponents Crewe, both sides very similarly priced, with Crewe edging favouritism, but only very slightly.

If you think Crawley can make it up to League One, and win the game next Sunday, they are 1/1 with Paddy Power.

Crawley Dominate Poor MK Dons

Winning 3-0 at home, Crawley gave themselves a huge chance of reaching Wembley after the first leg.

When it came to finishing the job, they did it in style, winning 5-1 away from home, rounding off an 8-1 success.

There will of course be a lot of talk surrounding MK Dons here, who finished third in the league, but played very poorly in both legs.

However, that shouldn’t take anything away from Crawley and their strong performance. I thought they were good in the first leg, and when they were on top in the second leg, never took the foot of the gas and kept punishing their opponents.

The only one concern I would have around Crawley is how they will play under pressure.

By facing MK Dons in the semi finals, they were put in a position where they had nothing to lose, and were big underdogs.

Now they go into a game where they are fancied, and do have a good chance, and that game comes on the biggest stage of all.

If they can handle the switch, and can play with the pressure on their backs, Crawley could be League One bound.
