Latest Liverpool manager odds as Ruben Amorim speaks out on links
Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim has been quizzed on his links to the soon-to-be vacant Liverpool job.
With Jurgen Klopp set to step down in the summer, the Reds are searching for his replacement and after Xabi Alonso confirmed he was set to remain at Bayer Leverkusen next season, Amorim is now 4/6 favourite with Betfair to become the next permanent Liverpool manager.

Amorim has emerged as one of the most impressive young managers in Europe since joining Sporting.
The 39-year-old delivered Sporting their first League title in 19 years during his first season in charge and could lift the trophy again this year, with his side currently one point clear atop of the table.
Such impressive achievements at such a young age are no doubt a key reason for Liverpool being linked with the Sporting manager.
However, Amorim insisted recently that he only had eyes for his current job despite so many links with a move to Liverpool:
“Right now I’m just focused on Sporting,” he told reporters.
“I am very proud to be Sporting’s manager. I have a contract, and even more importantly than that, I’m very happy here. My focus is on beating Benfica.”
