Manchester United injury update

Here is the latest Manchester United injury news ahead of their clash with Chelsea.

After United’s draw with Brentford over the weekend, Erik ten Hag confirmed Raphael Varane was replaced by Harry Maguire at half-time as a precautionary measure. There has been no further update on the Frenchman.

In the same interview, the Dutchman stated that Victor Lindelof will be assessed after he came off in the second half of Saturday evening’s meeting. Like Varane, there is no fresh news on the Swede’s issue.

On a more positive note for the Red Devils, left-back Luke Shaw is likely to play again this season for Manchester United, as per Ten Hag.

Finally, Jonny Evans missed the March international break and the draw with Brentford as he was ‘nursing a minor issue’ but he should be back in contention vs Chelsea.
