League One Accumulator of the Week
It was a relatively close run thing last week, with two of our selections in the four-fold coming in and only a goal here or there preventing the others, so we're going for a similar theme this week.
Mansfield v Birmingham - Birmingham to win -1
On paper, this should be a difficult trip for Birmingham's high-flying squad and you can be sure that Nigel Clough's Mansfield won't let them have it all their own way.
But I think it's probably fair to say that Mansfield won't be able to keep up this pace all season, and when you look a little closer at their results, they have done well against some of the weaker teams in the division.
Birmingham will be a different beast, and while it won't be an easy ride for the Blues I think they will have too much quality and be able to record a pretty comfortable victory by the end of the game.
Huddersfield v Exeter - Huddersfield to win and BTTS
Huddersfield are starting to put together a bit of a run that before long will see them climb up the table, and I think start competing for a top two spot.
However this game, against sixth-placed Exeter, should be a good one and a test for the Terriers, particularly when you look at the measly eight goals conceded by the Grecians this season.
The hosts should have enough to get the win, but I don't think they will have it their own way and it should make for a pretty good contest.
Cambridge v Burton - BTTS
Everything about the form book points towards a Cambridge win in this one, and truthfully, that would not be a surprise.
However I have a suspicion that after seven defeats on the bounce and Mark Robinson's dismissal, there could be a bit of fight about them. Not so much a 'new manager bounce' but some hurt pride among the players.
Each of Burton's last four games has seen BTTS so they have goals in them, while Cambridge have picked up successive wins to overtake their opponents and into 23rd in the table so will also fancy another three points.
Reading v Bristol Rovers - Reading to win
Reading delivered last week after I tipped them for a win, so I'm going for the same result this time round.
It's four wins in five matches for the Royals so they are in a good place - especially after beating Exeter on the road during the week - and another win should see them into the top six where they should fancy their chances of staying.
They'll have their work cut out against a decent Bristol Rovers side too, but I think their quality will show on the day.
