The normal Championship campaign drew to a close on May 4, seeing Leicester City and Ipswich Town earn promotion to the Premier League.
At the bottom end, meanwhile, Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town and Rotherham were all relegated to League One.
The second division action is not over just yet, though, as the Championship play-offs begin on May 12 with Leeds travelling to Norwich and West Brom hosting Southampton.
2023/24 Championship Play-Offs Odds
Leeds ended 2023/24 sat 3rd in the Championship, six points behind 2nd-place Ipswich Town. As a result, they are the current favourites to win the play-offs this year, followed by 4th-place Southampton. Elsewhere, despite Norwich City ending the regular season in 6th, they have lower odds than 5th-place West Brom in the play-off betting:

Who will win the Championship play-offs?
Leeds United
The end of 2023/24 saw Leeds United’s form fall off a cliff. The Whites spent a decent chunk of time sat 2nd in the table and looked likely to pip Ipswich to the final automatic promotion place.
However, the Yorkshire outfit went on to win just one of their last five games, losing to QPR and Southampton in their final two matches to hand 2nd place to the Tractor Boys. Leeds now face a Norwich side who have also won just one of their last five this weekend. Leeds are favourites to win on May 12 and have already beaten the Canaries twice this term.
Southampton
Much like Leeds United, Southampton’s promotion push was dashed in the final few moths of the campaign amidst a dismal run of form. The Saints lost four in five before eventually beating Leeds 2-1 on the final day, which should give them some much-needed confidence heading into the play-offs.
Southampton take on West Brom in the semi-final stage and are expected to see them off with ease after beating the Baggies twice already in 2023/24.
Norwich City
Norwich have enjoyed play-off success in the past, beating Middlesbrough 2-0 in 2015 to earn promotion to the Premier League. However, they are outsiders this term ahead of taking on Leeds. The Canaries finished 17 points behind the Whites in the table and their place in the top-six was not confirmed until the final day.
Norwich are also hampered by the fact that in the last 10 years, the 6th-place team has never gone on to win the play-offs.
West Brom
West Brom go into their semi-final meeting with Southampton as the clear outsiders to win the play-offs. Three 5th-place teams have won promotion to the Premier League in the last 10 years but the odds suggest it is unlikely this time around.
West Brom finished 2023/24 on 75 points, 12 adrift of their upcoming opponents and 15 behind Leeds. They also lost both of their meetings with Southampton this season.
