Liverpool vs Tottenham Premier League Betting Stats
Sunday’s Premier League action draws to a close at 4:30 pm BST at Anfield as Liverpool play host to Tottenham.
Despite their recent struggles, Liverpool are 1/2 favourites to secure the three points this weekend, while Spurs can be backed at 4/1 to come away from Merseyside with a win.
Ahead of the game, the Reds are looking to keep their dwindling title hopes alive, while Tottenham face a similar struggle in their quest for Champions League football.
Liverpool vs Tottenham
Liverpool spent much of 2023/24 at the top of the Premier League or at least just one win away from moving into 1st place. However, much like Jurgen Klopp, the Reds appear to have run out of energy at the business end of the season and have won just one of their last five league ties.
This has seen Liverpool drop down to 3rd in the league, five points off 1st-place Arsenal with three to play and four points off Manchester City, who have a game in hand. As a result, Liverpool have to win all of their remaining fixtures this term to stand any chance of clinching the title.
Like Liverpool, Tottenham’s recent poor run is likely to cost them as their hopes of a Champions League finish fade away with each passing gameweek.
Spurs faced off with Chelsea on May 2 and fell to a 2-0 defeat, leaving them seven points adrift of 4th-place Aston Villa. The Lilywhites still have a game in hand on Unai Emery’s side, but they need to win all of their remaining games and hope the Midlands outfit drop at least four points in their remaining three fixtures.

- Liverpool have won just one of their past five Premier League games (D2 L2), keeping just a single clean sheet in their last 14 matches in the competition.
- Tottenham have lost each of their past three Premier League games, as many defeats as they suffered in their previous 16 in the competition (W10 D3).
- Tottenham have conceded 22 goals from set-piece situations this season in the Premier League (including penalties), with only Nottingham Forest (26) and Sheffield United (23) shipping more

- A Mohamed Salah goal on Sunday would be his ninth in the league against Tottenham, which would pass the club record of eight held by Roger Hunt, Sir Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush.
