Manchester City are set to face off with Chelsea at Wembley in an FA Cup semi-final meeting on Saturday.
The Sky Blues are looking to win the competition for the second season in a row and are currently 8/13 to beat Chelsea this weekend.
Manchester City fitness blow before Chelsea
Ahead of taking on Chelsea, Manchester City were in Champions League action vs Real Madrid on Wednesday.
The Manchester outfit took Los Blancos to penalties at the Etihad Stadium but lost the shootout 4-3.
Following the defeat to Real Madrid, Pep Guardiola confirmed three of City’s key stars asked to come off during the tie:
“Erling and Kevin asked me to go out, like Manu, they could not continue,” he said.
“The game we were playing they were amazing and I am not a big fan of making a lot of substitutions but Kevin, Erling and Manu asked me to go out.”
It is not yet known if Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne will be fit to feature in the FA Cup this weekend. But should either of the duo not start, Julian Alavarez, who is 21/10 to score anytime, will likely come into the eleven in their place.
