Manchester United v Tottenham Preview
I'm not at all surprised to see football betting sites struggle with pricing this game, Manchester United are favourites around 11/8, while Spurs are only 15/8.
The tightness in the market is expected to be replicated on the field. I think both sides will fancy their chances of winning this, if they play to their best. However, the issue there is that I'm not sure either team has been up to their best this season, certainly not for long periods of a game anyway.
Both have aspirations for the top four, but on form we've seen so far, neither are good enough.
You get the feeling that both fancy themselves to score, but at the same time, don't really trust themselves at the back.
With both under a little bit of pressure, I think it's an advantage for Spurs to be playing away from home, no crowd on them, and smaller expectations. While for United, they've got to come and face the music, and respond following a disappointing 1-1 tie in Europe during midweek.
Both can win this, it's just a case of who can raise their game the best.
