A new favourite to win the 2023/24 Europa League has emerged after the latest round of quarter-final fixtures.
Liverpool and West Ham both exited the competition on Thursday evening at the hands of Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen, with the German outfit now 3/4 favourites to go on and lift the trophy.
Who will win the Europa League?
Bayer Leverkusen beat West Ham 2-0 in their first quarter-final tie last week. Xabi Alonso’s side then went 1-0 down after 13 minutes at the London Stadium as the Hammers eyed a major upset.
But Leverkusen eventually found an equaliser on the night in the 89th minute, securing a 3-1 win over two legs and a place in the semi-final vs Roma. The first leg between the pair takes place in Italy on May 2 and sees Leverkusen go into the match as 11/10 favourites.
The other semi-final tie will play out between Marseille, who beat Benfica 4-2 in a penalty shootout on Thursday, and Atalanta, who beat previous favourites Liverpool 3-1 over two legs.
Atalanta travel to France for the first semi-final clash at the beginning of next month and are 8/5 to pick up a win over Marseille.
