Newcastle v Manchester City Preview

All eyes will be on Manchester City this weekend, to see how they bounce back in the Premier League, following their home draw with Arsenal last Sunday, and football betting sites make them favourites to win the game.

However they perform, they will have to do so without Rodri, ruled out for the rest of the season after an injury in the Arsenal game.

The good news for City is they won in the Carabao Cup during midweek, 2-1 over Watford, though that was far narrower than many expected.

I think finally, expectations on Newcastle are beginning to match the talent they have. Three wins from five is a good start, but they were very poor away from home last weekend, losing 3-1 at Fulham.

Their two home games have been better, they've won both against Southampton and Tottenham, the latter in particular a good result.
