Many betting sites have odds available on the next England manager, despite Gareth Southgate still being in charge.
These odds have been available for months, with fluctuations and changes depending on who is currently in a job, and who could be a potential candidate.
The market will certainly heat up should Southgate leave his position, but for now, here is a look at the leading contenders for the role.
Next England Manager - Leading Contenders
Here is a look at some of the possible options for the FA to be the next England manager, and their current odds.
Graham Potter - 5/4
Favourite to be the next England manager, Graham Potter made huge waves at Brighton, before getting his big move to Chelsea, though that ultimately didn’t work out.
Plenty of that can be blamed on off the field issues and player incomings, so it’s fair to think Potter deserves another crack at a big job.
Firmly a coach who improves players, he’s relatively young, but is the best English manager currently out of work, which must count for something.
Eddie Howe - 7/2
Currently in work and manager of Newcastle, which brings its own complications, but Howe is seen as one of the best English managers so if that’s a key factor in the process, he has to be considered.
There could be the feeling that with financial fair play hitting them, Howe thinks he’s taken Newcastle as far as he can, and the most into international football could come at the right time for him.
A well respected coach, who has proven he can handle big names, and he is English.
Mauricio Pochettino - 9/2
A favourite at Tottenham, and seemingly liked by Chelsea fans, despite his struggles and eventual sacking from that club, Pochettino is available.
When returning to the country to manage Chelsea, Poch made it clear that he enjoys the English game, would the national team give him the same feel?
If a non-English manager came in, then hiring someone with experience of the Premier League would help, and Poch brings it, with two clubs.
Jurgen Klopp - 14/1
Former Liverpool boss, a man who despite not being English, would be a choice for many, and would have the appetite to come here and take this job.
Klopp will eventually get back into management, but with his reasons for leaving Liverpool due to the stress and pressures of the job, international management may be what he turns to.
He would be favourite for the Germany job, if they ever needed a change, but England is likely to come up first, and he may just be tempted.
