1:20pm Cheltenham - Jubilee Alpha (Each-Way)
I was surprised that Patrick Mullins rides Maughreen.
I thought she was best of Willies, but obviously, Paul Townsend doesn't believe so - he rides Aurora Vega.
At a much higher price, the horse I like in this is JUBILEE ALPHA (Each Way) for Paul Nicholls.
I've been with her all year, and the race will be run to suit - she's got a big change.
Recommendation: Jubilee Alpha (Each-Way) - 12/1 with BetVictor (4 places)
2:00pm Cheltenham - Springwell Bay (Each-Way)
SPRINGWELL BAY (Each-Way) for me in this one, for Jonjo.
I know he's got plenty of weight, but he is a horse I love, and his victory on New Year's Day here was unbelievable.
If you're looking for a graded horse in this race, it's Springwell Bay - he loves the track and will love the ground.
Yes, he has a lot of weight, but if you look at the fancied ones, he's not giving away too much.
Recommendation: Springwell Bay (Each-Way) - 8/1 with Coral (5 places)
2:40pm Cheltenham - Jeriko Du Reponet & One Big Bang (Each-Way)
JERIKO DU REPONET is one of my best bets in the handicaps of the whole meeting - he was such an eye-catcher at Exeter, and he'll love the better ground.
You used to be able to play the race cleverly and get in with a lot of weight in hand, but that doesn't seem to be happening anymore.
I don't see anything thrown in this year - he has a massive chance.
At the bigger prices, Henri The Second may as well start now as he needs heavy ground.
For me, though, ONE BIG BANG (Each-Way) from the James Owen stable with Jamie Brace taking off 5lbs looks like a solid each-way bet.
Ideally, he'd prefer slower ground, but he'll gallop all day and could run a massive race.
Recommendation: Jeriko Du Reponet - 11/2 with William Hill & One Big Bang (Each-Way) - 16/1 with Betfred (6 places)
3:20pm Cheltenham - Fact To File
This is a three-horse race - I believe it comes down to FACT TO FILE, Il Est Francais, and Protektorat.
I fancy Fact To File for this - he could develop into a Gold Cup horse in time.
I know it looked like he didn't stay this year, but once he learns to race more efficiently - and when a certain Galopin Des Champs isn't around anymore - he's the one who could step up.
So I'm really confident in him, and the race will also be run to suit him.
From a jockey's perspective, this is a reasonably straightforward race to ride - Il Est Francais is going to go very fast, and you've got to follow him while getting your fractions right, but at the same time, you can't afford to let him get 20 lengths ahead.
However, coming up that hill, I think Fact To File will be the one to pick him up.
As for Protektorat, I saw him recently, and he looks an absolute beast, almost like a three-year-old just bouncing around the place!
He's in serious form, really serious form - he won this race last year, and while he might prefer slightly slower ground, I don't think he could be heading into this in any better shape.
Recommendation: Fact To File - 5/4 with bet365
4:00pm Cheltenham - The Wallpark (Each-Way)
Teahupoo is the short-priced favourite and has been well-backed, and people have been saying he’s much better on softer ground.
They claim he handles soft ground as if it were good ground, and for me, that would be a slight negative.
He is the reigning champion, so you have to give him a lot of respect.
The horse I like in this race is THE WALLPARK (Each-Way) - the more I watch the Long Walk Hurdle, where he finished behind Crambo, the more I think he was finishing strongly.
I feel that back on the new track tomorrow, with a real stiff finish - if they go a strong pace - he’s the one who could finish best.
As for Langer Dan, he is one of the most talked-about horses heading into Cheltenham, but honestly, I think he might just come up short in this race tomorrow.
Recommendation: The Wallpark (Each-Way) - 7/1 with Coral (4 places)
4:40pm Cheltenham - Masaccio (Each-Way)
Jagwar has a great chance, but the horse I like in this is MASACCIO (Each-Way) for Alan King and Tom Cannon.
He's got form on the track behind Jagwar on Trials Day, and I think on slightly better ground in a fast run race he looks overpriced,
This has been a plan for a while, and he's got a hell of an engine, and I think it really suits him when he has a break between his races.
He'll be fresh and well and has a big chance.
Recommendations: Masaccio (Each-Way) - 10/1 with bet365 (5 places)
5:20pm Cheltenham - Johnnywho (Nap) & Manothepeople (Each-Way)
I know I keep going on about Jonjo, but I think JOHNNYWHO (Nap) is the horse who has been laid out for this race.
I really fancy him - he's got a massive chance.
Derek O'Connor is booked, which would have happened long before they thought about it.
So if he has a smooth run around, he'll be very hard to beat.
At a bigger price, my old friend, MANOTHEPEOPLE (Each-Way), runs in this, who sent me off with a winner at Cheltenham.
He's got Gina Andrews on board - he will love the ground and loves Cheltenham, and he could run a massive race.
Recommendations: Johnnywho (Nap) - 11/2 with Coral & Manothepeople (Each-Way) - 40/1 with bet365 (5 places)
