A.J. Brown Over 85.5 Receiving Yards
The Eagles thrive on their rushing game, averaging 193.4 yards per contest (1st in the NFL) with an impressive 5.2 yards per carry (tied 2nd). However, their ground game will face a stern challenge this Sunday against one of the league’s strongest defensive lines.
The Ravens allow just 77.9 rushing yards per game (2nd) and a league-best 3.5 yards per carry. Baltimore's run defence has kept opponents under 100 rushing yards in nine of their 12 games this season, with their highest allowance being 125 yards to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7.
As a result, the Eagles are likely to target the Ravens' secondary. Baltimore concedes the second-most passing yards per game (277.7) and the eighth-most yards per reception (11.7), making this an excellent opportunity for A.J. Brown to shine.
Brown has been in fine form, amassing 39 receptions for 727 yards and four touchdowns across eight games this season. Over the last three weeks, he sandwiched a solid performance against the Washington Commanders (five catches for 65 yards) with two standout displays.
In Week 10, during a dominant 34-6 win over the Dallas Cowboys, Brown recorded five receptions for 109 yards. Last week, he registered six catches for 109 yards and a touchdown in a 37-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
A.J. Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Brown shares the top spot for targets in the Eagles' receiving corps with DeVonta Smith (56), although Smith has played one more game this season. However, Smith has been dealing with a hamstring issue and has been limited in practice all week, with his status for Week 13 listed as questionable.
Even if Smith suits up, Brown will need to take charge and lead the way for the Eagles. Baltimore’s secondary has shown vulnerabilities, and their defensive backs lack the physicality to match Brown, who stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 226 lbs.
The Ravens rank 23rd in the NFL for scoring defense, conceding 24.5 points per game. They’ve allowed 31 offensive touchdowns this season, with 22 coming through the air. Opposing wide receivers have caught 16 of those 22 touchdowns, making A.J. Brown a key player to watch in our Ravens v Eagles tips.
As mentioned earlier, Brown broke his four-game scoreless streak last week and has found the end zone in each of his first three appearances this season. While the Eagles have relied heavily on Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts—who have combined for 21 rushing touchdowns—the Ravens are likely to stack the box in an attempt to contain their ground game.
This strategy should create plenty of space for Brown to exploit. The three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver has a prime opportunity to make an impact and hopefully find the end zone again.
