- Brian Harman to beat Viktor Hovland & Sahith Theegala - 9/5 with betfair
- Justin Thomas to beat Sungjae Im & Matthew Southgate - 13/10 with betfair

The weather played its part on day one of the Open Championship at Royal Troon, with a number of high scores across the board as players struggled with conditions.
Although the rain is forecast to subside, there are more high winds due on Friday which should again affect the scoring throughout the day and with tee times being announced for the second day, we have had a look at some of the prices.
I have cast my eye over the groups and produced four Open 3-ball betting tips to mark on your coupons for the opening round on Friday, plus our best golf betting offers from the top online bookmakers.
The Open 3-Ball Betting Tips - Day Two
Check out my four selections for the second day at Royal Troon on Friday, which are ideal for a 42/1 golf acca.
Robert MacIntyre to beat Jon Rahm & Tommy Fleetwood
This was our tip for the opening day, and I see no reason to move away from it going into Friday.
Tommy Fleetwood would have had pretty high hopes heading into this week, but he was one of the players to fall victim to the conditions as he shot five over, while Robert MacIntyre and Jon Rahm fared a little better at one over and two over respectively.
They’re due to tee off in the early afternoon just as the winds are starting to pick up again after a more becalmed morning, so I think the in-form MacIntyre will continue to fare best on home turf.
The Scot claimed a one-shot win at his home Scottish Open to make it two PGA Tour wins in six weeks and could easily find himself in the mix here if he goes a bit better on day two.
These three players all have ground to make up so expect this one to be close, but I am going with the form of MacIntyre to count in his favour.
Brian Harman to beat Viktor Hovland & Sahith Theegala
We fancied Viktor Hovland on day one due to his fine recent form both in recent majors and crucially in the Open, but he was another who struggled on day one with an early start.
He finished four over in what was another very high-scoring 3-ball and will be hoping to make up some lost ground on Friday despite getting the rough end of the tee times again on Friday, with this group due back out just before 3pm.
Winds of up to 16mph will be a real challenge, so I’m backing last year’s Open champion Brian Harman to navigate his way around the course better than his two opponents on Friday.
Sahith Theegala had a really tough day so I’m counting him out, but Harman kept himself in the race with three birdies en route to two over. He was level par heading into the final nine so could easily have gone in slightly lower had it not been for two bogeys in the last four holes.
Hovland on the other hand carded just one birdie all day so it looks a big ask for him even to beat Harman based on the evidence so far.
Justin Thomas to beat Sungjae Im & Matthew Southgate
Justin Thomas was the clubhouse leader for much of the day, defying conditions with a superb seven birdies to finish on three under - having double-bogeyed the 12th as his only major blip of the day.
He has no real form to speak of this season having missed the cut at the US Open and the Masters this season, as well as The Players Championship but he looked in good nick on day one and will be out again just before 1pm.
He was the only one out of this threesome to go in under par too, with Sungjae Im struggling massively and Matthew Southgate solid rather than spectacular in going round two over.
Another good round from Thomas and he will fancy going deep in his bid for a second career major and making the cut at the Open for just the fifth time.
Ludvig Aberg to beat Bryson DeChambeau & Tom Kim
This group is probably the toughest to call, with all three of them enduring tough days on Thursday.
Ludvig Aberg is one who has been tipped for a Major win even at this stage of his career, but he would already appear to be out of the running after going round in 75 on the opening day. Bryson DeChambeau and Tom Kim didn’t fare much better either however, with DeChambeau one shot further back and Kim level with him - despite being one of our tips for the Scottish Open last week.
They’re another group who will go out just before 3pm which will provide a stern test of their credentials, but I think Aberg should be able to navigate his way round the course slightly better than the other two.
