West Indies v England Cricket Betting Tips - 2nd ODI
England have arrived at this tournament, hammering the West Indies by eight wickets this morning to put themselves in a great position for the semi-finals. Can they continue their march in this latest T20 World Cup Betting Tips preview?
In all forms of cricket, it’s one step forwards and two back for England at present. If they can reverse that and take one back and two forwards, we will be in business.
Here are our top cricket betting tips for the second match of the white-ball tour of the West Indies, plus the best betting offers from the top online bookmakers.

West Indies v England Match Preview
England are a remarkably hard team to read, aren’t they!
Two down after two against Australia in the end-of-summer ODIs and they roar back to 2-2 before losing the decider. Then they hammer Pakistan in the first Test last month before losing the subsequent two fixtures to slip to a damaging defeat.
Consistency in selection is a part of that, obviously, and this limited overs squad in the West Indies at present is missing many a first-choice selection. But they still have the talent available to be doing much better than a resounding opening-game defeat last night.
After England, who have generally struggled for results in the Caribbean down the years, were bowled out for 209, the West Indies chased a revised 157 following rain to win by eight wickets.
England remain odds on favourites to win this second ODI, at 8/11. I would be swerving that. But it wouldn’t surprise me one bit to see Liam Livingstone’s men bounce back. For that reason, and because we are on England to win the series 2-1 correct score, let’s look for some value elsewhere.
Spin it to win it
Just before I get onto the spinners, it’s worth looking at bet365's 5/6 on West Indian opener Evin Lewis to score over 30 runs in this fixture.
The powerful left-hander has reached at least 50 three times in his last five internationals, dating back to last month’s tour of Sri Lanka. He scored 50 in a T20I and then 102 not out in an ODI. He followed that up with 94 in game one of this series.
The spinners had plenty of success in Antigua last night, led by West Indian left-armer Gudakesh Motie, who claimed 4-41 from 10 overs, before the two wickets England claimed went to spinners Adil Rashid and Livingstone.
Motie has caused England constant problems with the white ball in the last year. He has taken 13 wickets against them in eight ODIs and T20Is dating back to last December’s tour.
bet365 are offering 11/10 on him to take two or more wickets in game two, a price I would be taking for this ODI betting tips preview.
I’m willing to give Jordan Cox another shot at success. I tipped him in game one to be England’s top run-scorer, and he posted 17 from number three. I will go slightly less adventurous and tip him at 9/4 to score a fifty with betfair.
Going back to Motie, betfair also have him at 3/1 to be the West Indies’ top bowler in the match, which is worth serious consideration.
Given what I’ve said about the spinners, I like Betano’s Bet Boost 17/2 on Motie, Rashid and England quick Jofra Archer all to take two wickets or more wickets apiece in Antigua.
