Windsor Tips - Today’s Best Horse Racing Tips For Windsor

handicap horse racing -freebets.com

There is evening action once again at Windsor on Monday, and we’ve got free Windsor tips courtesy of our tipping duo Alan Kelly and Charlie McCann, including a selection at 12/1.

Alan Kelly - 6:35pm Windsor - Rhythm N Hooves (Each-Way)

The 6:35pm race has attracted a decent field of ten and is the most interesting race of the evening. Most of the runners for this 6f handicap can be given a chance, in particular Laoisman who is on a four-timer following wins at Chepstow and Lingfield last September before completing the hat-trick with a victory at Wolverhampton last month.

Clive Cox’s Katey Kontent would be interesting if fit enough on her first start for over seven months. But the each-way vote goes to the Archie Watson-trained RHYTHM N HOOVES (Each-Way), the mount of jockey Hollie Doyle. Two runs last month, at Bath and on Southwell’s all-weather surface, should put the Pearl Secret gelding spot-on for tonight’s contest.

With Doyle in the saddle, Rhythm N Hooves won Royal Ascot’s 26-runner Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes (Handicap) last year off a mark of 87. While defeats followed at Ascot and Doncaster with a revised rating of 96, there have been excuses for several subsequent defeats. Back to a mark of 88 and with those two runs under her belt, I expect a much better effort from the lightly-raced four-year-old.

Charlie McCann - 7:40pm Windsor - Budding (Nap)

The Classic generation have won the last two renewals of the near 12f handicap, and I hope to see Hollie Doyle get a good tune out of BUDDING for Hughie Morrison.

The filly is not bred to want this distance, but she looked in need of the trip when staying on from the rear at Yarmouth over ten furlongs when well backed. Oisin Murphy cannot do 8st 4lbs so Doyle takes over in the plate, but you get the impression he must have told connections that she needs further after her Yarmouth run.

Dovena is likely to head the market and is only 1lb higher than when runner-up at Bath on her stable debut in September. She bounces off fast ground and is ridden by a talented claimer who has just the one ride at the meeting and takes off a valuable 3lbs.

However, this is her first start for 250 days, and I just favour Budding, who I hope is ridden more prominently than last time.
