Bristol City vs Leicester Free Bets, Betting Tips & Predictions
Leicester will be eager to resurrect their automatic promotion push when they travel to take on Bristol City on Good Friday.
The Foxes’ form has flatlined of late, garnering just one win from their previous five Championship outings, and they relinquished top spot to rivals Leeds before the international break.
Although they have a game in hand over Leeds, Leicester will be nervously looking over their shoulders, with third-placed Ipswich on their coattails waiting to pounce.
While Enzo Maresca’s charges have suffered an untimely dip, on the injury front things are looking promising with Ricardo Pereira, Wilfred Ndidi, and Jamie Vardy all likely to be passed fit and in contention to start.
In stark contrast, Bristol City have been trundling along, but they have picked up a mere three points from their previous six league games, and they sit 14th in the table.
While there is no immediate danger of them going down, they will want to return to winning ways soon.
But how will things unfold at Ashton Gate? I have cast my eye over the markets and picked out a couple of value tips for you to consider ahead of kick-off.
Leicester to get back on track
Inevitably over the course of a gruelling campaign, there are bound to be peaks and troughs, and Leicester have been going through a bit of a tough spell.
Up until a month ago, the Foxes were calmly ticking off the games, pocketing three points, and they seemed to be in the driving seat in the title race.
Things have changed since then, although an inviting run of games over the next few weeks could give them a spring in their step.
Bristol City, who were in the play-off picture at the end of 2023, will take confidence from their strong Good Friday record, where they have lost just one of their last eight league games played on that day (W4, D3).
That said, they will have a job on their hands trying to stifle a full-strength Leicester, who are the league’s second-highest scorers, firing home 74 goals.
This will be the first time that Leicester will be travelling to Bristol City for a league game in over 11 years, and on that day, they cantered to a 4-0 win with Chris Wood grabbing a hat-trick.

Leicester have only kept one clean sheet over their past five league games, so I think they could edge things in a goal-laden occasion.
For my opening gambit, I’m leaning towards Leicester to win & BTTS which is priced at a tantalising 5/2 with Paddy Power.
Jamie Vardy to make a telling contribution
Even at the grand old age of 37, Vardy is showing no signs of slowing down.
Although he missed the 4-2 FA Cup defeat away to Chelsea with a minor injury, Vardy had been in mesmerising form before then.
Seven goals in his past seven Championship appearances, including a brace against Hull, suggests class is permanent.
Indeed, Vardy has struck 13 times in the league this term, and he is simply too good to ignore.
Vardy should be passed fit, and I think he could give Bristol City a torrid time.
To round things off, I’m plumping on Vardy to bag a double, and bet365 has obliged with odds of 10/1 for you to pursue.
