We will also have a clearer idea of how the top-four race is shaping up with Tottenham and Liverpool both taking to the pitch that day, although the Reds get things underway in the lunchtime kick-off.

Premier League Anytime Scorer Tips

Once again, I have been poring over the markets, and I have been rather bold with my four-fold for anytime scorers, which is paying out at an eye-watering 53/1 with bet365.

  • Darwin Nunez – Bournemouth vs LIVERPOOL
  • Kai Havertz – Leicester vs CHELSEA
  • Harry Kane – TOTTENHAM vs Nottingham Forest
  • Phil Foden – Crystal Palace vs MANCHESTER CITY

Our four selections for Saturday's action

Darwin Nunez – Bournemouth vs LIVERPOOL

Darwin Nunez generally tends to score in clusters, although until about a month or so ago, it seemed that he couldn’t hit a barn door!

How times have changed. Against Manchester United last weekend, he ripped the Red Devils to shreds, and his finishing was superb.

A double took his tally to 14 goals in all competitions this term, and he is in a bit of a purple patch, firing home four goals in his last four games in all competitions.

Although Mohamed Salah will generally hog the limelight, Nunez has emerged from the shadows, and he will look to add to Bournemouth’s woes.

The Cherries came within a whisker of stunning Arsenal at the Emirates, but Liverpool have built up some momentum, and Nunez could hit the target. He’s my first pick at 7/5.

Kai Havertz – Leicester vs CHELSEA

Graham Potter needed some respite and masterminding Chelsea’s last-16 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League will have taken some of the pressure off.

Before that, they clinched a 1-0 win over Leeds, and if they can string some results together, perhaps a top-six finish isn’t beyond reach.

Leicester, meanwhile, have been on the slide enduring three defeats on the spin, and the 1-0 reverse against Southampton last weekend will have hurt given the chances they were unable to convert.

Havertz — who was on target against Dortmund — could well make the Foxes pay, and he’s trading at 13/5 to net anytime.

Harry Kane – TOTTENHAM vs Nottingham Forest

Tottenham may have felt that luck conspired against them during their defeat against Wolves as they struck the woodwork a couple of times before Adama Traore’s late winner flew in off the underside of the bar.

With Antonio Conte patrolling the touchline once again in the Premier League after recovering from surgery, three points is a must for Tottenham in their quest for a top-four spot, given Liverpool are on their coattails.

Forest have been inconsistent of late, picking up two draws and two defeats in their past four league outings, and they have shipped nine goals in the process.

Harry Kane, meanwhile, is usually one of the first names that usually pop up on an anytime scorer acca, and he’s closing in on another 20-goal season for Tottenham in the league. Kane is at a very short 8/11 to hit the target against Forest.

Phil Foden – Crystal Palace vs MANCHESTER CITY

Manchester City will have been reeling by the way Arsenal stormed to a last-gasp win over Bournemouth, but Pep Guardiola’s men just have to focus on the task at hand.

Next up is a trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace. When they locked horns with the Eagles at the Etihad in August, City had to mount a comeback from 2-0 down before prevailing 4-2.

Last weekend, Phil Foden looked to be back to his best against Newcastle as he showed his shimmering class on the right flank.

Yes, there may have been an element of luck about his goal, but it was well deserved. Having scored in back-to-back matches, Foden has rediscovered his goalscoring touch, and that could continue against Palace. He rounds off my acca at 13/5 if you fancy including him on your slip.
