Grand Annual Handicap Chase 2022 Betting Odds Runners & Preview

The Grand Annual is the oldest race at the Festival with the inaugural event taking place in 1834. It’s a trappy little affair for speedy horses held over two miles, one hundred and ten yards with fourteen fences in all to negotiate.

The leading trainer over the last 21 renewals is Paul Nicholls who has saddled four winners.

In 2021, after the favourite Embittered collapsed at the sixth, 14/1 shot Sky Pirate trained by Jonjo O’Neill’s edged out Entoucas.
