King George Chase Betting Tips & Stats Guide
What Happened Last Year?
Bravemansgame won the 2022 King George VI Chase from Royale Pagaille, giving trainer Paul Nicholls a record 13th victory in the Boxing Day showpiece.
The seven-year-old was a brilliant winner of the Kauto Star Novices’ Chase on the card in 2021, and he returned to Kempton in even better form, having made a triumphant reappearance in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby.
Bravemansgame tracked stablemate Frodon for much of the race before taking over on the home straight. L’Homme Presse challenged strongly but unseated jockey Charlie Deutsch at the final fence when looking beaten, leaving Bravemansgame to cruise home alone.
Royale Pagaille was second, ahead of Frodon in third.
