Real Madrid are rightly being considered as favourites heading into the game, having seen off Manchester City and then Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively.

They are two European giants and required four hugely disciplined performances over the two legs of both ties, but as they do so often in the Champions League they have made their way to the final and look a good bet to lift a 15th title.

They have arguably the form player in the world right now in Bellingham, but with Vinicius, Rodrygo and Eduardo Camavinga they have a quartet of exciting young players who could set up a real dynasty in Spain, while Toni Kroos will wave an emotional goodbye to supporters after a decade of service.

Dortmund on the other hand have beaten Atletico Madrid and PSG, and while they don’t quite have the superstars their opponents have on offer do have a dangerous attack, with Jadon Sancho close to his best again on loan from Manchester United.

Niclas Fullkrug, Niklas Sule and Mats Hummels are also among the players hoping to disrupt Real’s party.
