We have another seven Champions League second-round qualifiers on Wednesday after Tuesday’s matches, and this time round we have Dynamo Kyiv and Maccabi Tel Aviv among those involved.
It is the second leg of all matches, meaning teams are just three ties away from competing in the Champions League proper, so there is plenty at stake for the teams even at this stage of the season.
Two of the sides above feature in our regular Champions League tips and predictions, with plenty of promotions are available on Freebets.com from the top football betting sites to give you a head start this summer, along with the top football betting offers.
Champions League Tips and Predictions
FC Midtjylland to win -2
It hasn’t exactly been the best of starts to the new season for FC Midtyjylland with two draws from their opening two league games, but they did get a comfortable win on the road in Andorra. They have a 3-0 lead on aggregate but rather than sit on that I expect them to build on it and put a few goals past Santa Coloma.
Dynamo Kyiv to beat Partizan Belgrade
Dynamo Kyiv will be one of the sides with serious hopes of progressing all the way to the Champions League proper, having last qualified three seasons ago. I don’t think they will have it all their own way on the road in Belgrade but the 6-2 margin in the first leg was a clear indication that there is a bit of a gap between the two sides. I don’t think this second leg will be a walkover, but fancy the Ukraine side to get a second win of the tie.
Maccabi Tel Aviv v FCSB - BTTS
The first game between these two sides finished level at 1-1, and backing BTTS again is my choice this time round. I think the hosts will probably have enough to progress to the next round, but fancy a couple of goals in the game and I don’t think there will be much between the two sides.
PAOK to beat Borac Banja Luka
PAOK are comfortable favourites for this tie against Bosnian champions Borac Banja Luka. They made it through to the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League last season so they clearly have pedigree, even if they made hard work of the first leg. I think Borac Banja were flattered by the score though, so an away win is on the cards.
