Falkirk Invincibles - Bairns Odds-On to Make History
History can be made at the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday

Having already sealed the Scottish League One title and return to the Scottish Championship after a five-year absence, Falkirk can etch their name into the history book this weekend as they look to end the season undefeated.
Saturday’s home game against Alloa stands between the Bairns and an invincible league campaign, and they are a short price to the bookmakers to do just that - bet365 offering 2/9 on a home win, with Alloa 10/1 to spoil the last-day party.
Falkirk have amassed 27 wins and eight draws from their 35 league games to date, smashing in 94 goals with striker Callumn Morrison responsible for 23 of them.
And the former Hearts star is 17/5 to open the scoring at the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday.
The Bairns’ success this season has also seen manager John McGlynn, along with Dundee boss Tony Docherty and Kilmarnock’s Derek McInnes, shortlisted for the PFA Manager of the Year Award.
If Falkirk avoid defeat on Saturday, they will become just the seventh side in Scottish football to record an unbeaten league campaign in 125 years, following Rangers in season 2021-21, Celtic 2016-17, Rangers 2013-14 (3rd tier), Kilmarnock 1898-99 (2nd tier), Rangers 1898-99, and Celtic 1897-98.
And, having reached the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup last season and then steamrollering their way to the League One title this year, big things will be expected of Falkirk in their return to the Scottish Championship as they plot a return to the top-tier of Scottish football.
