International Rugby Acca Tips: 15/1 featuring New Zealand v England, Australia v Wales & South Africa v Ireland
England will hope to go one better against New Zealand this weekend as they prepare for the second Test of this summer’s internationals.
Steve Borthwick’s side lost out by just a point in the opening game in Dunedin, while Ireland went down narrowly to World Cup holders South Africa, Australia had enough to overcome Wales and an under-strength France surprised Argentina.
Check out our 13/1 Acca for Saturday’s second and final Test matches below, plus the best rugby betting offers on offer from the top betting sites.
- England +10 vs New Zealand
- Australia -13.5 vs Wales
- Ireland +5.5 vs South Africa

International Rugby Acca Tips
England +10 vs New Zealand
It couldn’t have been any closer in the first Test last weekend, with the All Blacks edging the match by a single point. England had led in the second half, scored two tries and fly-half Marcus Smith missed three of his five kicks at goal which suggests there is still plenty for England to be encouraged about ahead of the second Test at Eden Park.
New Zealand have a formidable record in Auckland however, having remained unbeaten there for 30 years over 49 matches, so it remains a massive ask for England to emerge outright winners in this game and level the series.
I’m going for a similar story to last week’s game, with the new-look New Zealand side having too much for Steve Borthwick’s side, but England still putting up a good fight before coming up short. It should be another entertaining game.
Australia -13.5 vs Wales
Last week we carried a similar tip for this game as with New Zealand v England and it came in with Australia winning 25-16, but I think we could see a different story this time round.
Yes it was another close game between the two sides - as we pointed out last week, the previous four games before the World Cup thrashing were won by five, one, four and three points respectively - but it could have been a different story, with Wales struggling in attack and the lineout.
It was the first game for Australia under Joe Schmidt so there is clear room for improvement and I think they will increase the margin of victory in what would be their 13th successive win against Wales on home turf.
Ireland +5.5 vs South Africa
Last week we backed a South Africa -7 win, and it was the first one that didn’t come in but it was a close run thing with the Springboks 27-20 winners in Pretoria.
Ireland suffered a couple of injuries in that game but Andy Farrell has reported a clean bill of health for the second Test, so I am expecting another close game this time round and backing Ireland to push South Africa even closer than they did last week.
Whether or not they have enough to get the win I am not sure, particularly given their poor record in South Africa, but they are two well-matched sides and both with a recent taste of victory over the other - Ireland’s coming in the World Cup last year.
Argentina to beat France
It should have been an easy win for Argentina last week, lining up against a very inexperienced France side on home turf, but they wound up on the wrong side of a 28-13 defeat.
The form books suggest something similar could happen again - France have won their last three matches and Argentina have lost their last three - but I think the experience will show this time round and the hosts will go out with a point to prove and get a convincing victory.
Some off-field issues - two France players were arrested over sexual assault claims - is likely to have clouded the mood in the French camp this week and prove a distraction to the squad, and it would be no surprise to see the form suffer on the pitch as a result.
