Champions League Acca Tips
Champions League Acca of the Week
We have nine games to pick our four-fold acca from this week, and as we have already seen in this season's Champions League, picking out winners hasn't been as straightforward as you'd imagine so we've plucked a 27/1 acca out.
Liverpool v Bayer Leverkusen - Liverpool to win to nil
I'm not surprised that the odds for this selection are not great, but I'm backing Liverpool's brilliant start under Arne Slot to continue for a little while yet.
It will of course be Xabi Alonso's return to Anfield with his entertaining Leverkusen side, but while they have started the Champions League well there are signs that domestically they have not quite been up to the same standards of last season.
I think this will be a relatively low-scorer between two sides desperate not to give an inch. A point would probably be accepted prior to kick-off by the visitors, but Liverpool have conceded just seven goals across the league and Champions League so far, and I think that will continue.
Sporting v Man City - Man City to win to nil
This is another where what happens on the touchline could be of more interest than the match itself, with Manchester-bound Ruben Amorim taking on United's city rivals Manchester City.
Sporting have made a great start to the season while City lost on Saturday, but as Pep Guardiola rotates his squad I expect his players to remain fresh and sweep Sporting to one side.
This is another I don't think will be a high-scorer but City have become very good at recording professional wins at this stage of the Champions League.
Celtic v RB Leipzig - BTTS
Celtic have been a mixed bag in the Champions League so far, hammering Slovan Bratislava before a humiliating defeat to Borussia Dortmund and then a respectable goalless draw with Atalanta.
They need to make their home games count but come up against an in-form RB Leipzig on Tuesday who will be no pushover.
It's hard to call which way this one will go as I think either side could easily win, but with both sides needing a win I think there should be goals on either side.
Real Madrid v AC Milan - Real Madrid to win
With two wins and a defeat in their three games so far, it's not been the perfect start to another Champions League defence for Real Madrid but they are in a decent position.
The 4-0 defeat to Barcelona last week will have stung however, and they have had over a week to stew on that result and with Vinicius Jr also missing out on the Ballon D'or and the odd reaction of his teammates, they have a point to prove.
AC Milan are good opponents for them but regardless of who they are playing, I think they will put out a statement performance.
