- Naoya Inoue to beat TJ Doheny by KO/TKO/Disqualification in Rounds 1-3 - 21/10 with bet365
Tuesdays are the new Saturdays in the boxing world – especially if you have a penchant for Japanese fight nights.
The “Monster” Naoya Inoue returns to action on Tuesday as he attempts to strength his claim to the pound-for-pound throne, and his opponent TJ Doheny has been priced as big as 20/1 to record what would be one of the biggest upsets of the last decade in Tokyo.
Elsewhere, Yoshiki Takei looks to continue his good form and Ismael Barrios is out to prove that age is just a number as he fights in his 10th different country as a pro in his 42nd year.

Japanese “Monster” Boxing Betting Tips
Yoshiki Takei to beat Daigo Higa by Decision/Technical Decision
On paper, this one looks like a pretty competitive fight.
A lot is being expected of former kick-boxer Yoshiki Takei in boxing circles, and he underlined his potential in beating the experienced and tough Jason Moloney to the WBO bantamweight title back in May this year.
Higa has been a pro since 2014 and has a bit of a patchy record.
The 29-year-old has come up short in his biggest tests but has forced a mandatory for the WBO strap following four wins on the spin.
Takei is the fresher and more dangerous of the two and should be able to outwork Higa over the distance to retain his title.
Ismael Barroso to beat Andy Hiraoka by KO/TKO/Disqualification
Ismael Barroso told Freebets.com this week that “age is just a number in boxing” and that he feels “stronger than ever despite being 41 years old.”
As easy as it is to be blinded by the romance of Barroso’s story, he has shown more than enough in his last two fights to suggest he is still a player in the super-lightweight division.
He was beating Rolly Romero on the cards before a controversial stoppage handed him his fourth loss of an impressive career, and managed to bounce back in his next fight to KO British hopeful Ohara Davies inside the first round.
The Venezuelan carries massive power in his southpaw stance, and fellow southpaw Andy Hiraoka will have to be wary of getting caught cold in Tokyo.
Hiraoka is unbeaten in 23 fights but is also untested at the top, top level. If Barroso can find that reliable haymaker, then we could see an upset at 4/1 with bet365.
Naoya Inoue to beat TJ Doheny by KO/TKO/Disqualification in Rounds 1-3
At 1/50 with bet365 to win this fight, nobody is expecting anything but a comfortable home victory for the “Monster” in Tokyo.
Naoya Inoue is as close to boxing perfection as you could craft and, after dominating four weight classes, is now looking to rubber-stamp his place at the top of the pound-forpound rankings, constantly jostling for position with Oleksandr Usyk and Terence Crawford.
Inoue is a killer in the ring and has won 24 of his 27 fights by blistering KO.
Arguably, his best performance came in his last against a dangerous Luis Nery in which Inoue chopped down the Mexican in six rounds despite touching the canvas in a rare knockdown earlier in the fight.
TJ Doheny has earnt his right to dance with Inoue, but we suspect it’s dance that won’t see the second verse.
Doheny is 37, has four losses on his record and is walking into the “Monster’s” den – expect an early stoppage.
