Weekend Rugby Betting Tips
England +11 vs New Zealand
England are without a win in New Zealand since 2003 but they look a solid bet to push a new-look All Blacks close in Dunedin on Saturday morning.
The All Blacks havenโt played since the World Cup and head into this clash under new boss Scott Robertson, while England have a Six Nations campaign - which included a victory over champions Ireland - plus a convincing warm-up win over Japan under their belts.
With match time under thier belts, Steve Borthwickโs side can keep the score respectable with Marcus Smith looking confident at fly-half in recent weeks.
Wales +11 vs Australia
Historically, clashes between Australia and Wales have been closely contested, and the Wallabiesโ recent inconsistent form makes them an unattractive betting proposition at odds-on.
Wales havenโt fared much better, but receiving a double-digit handicap looks excellent value, with their 40-6 victory over Australia in the 2023 World Cup still fresh in mind.
Previous matches before that clash saw Australia win 39-34 in 2022 after Wales had secured three consecutive victories with scores of 29-28, 29-25, and 9-6.
South Africa -7 vs Ireland
The top two nations in international rugby clash on Saturday as South Africa take on Ireland in Pretoria.
And an experienced Springboks side look like a solid bet to avenge their defeat by Ireland in last yearโs World Cup.
Despite winning their last three games against the Springboks, Ireland have a horrific record in South Africa, and they head into this test in a transitional phase and without several key players, including Jamison Gibson-Park.
Argentina to beat France
Argentina finished fourth in last yearโs Rugby World Cup, and home advantage could help them secure a hard-fought victory over an experimental French side.
Only six players in Franceโs 42-man squad have over ten caps, with coach Fabien Galthie without those from Toulouse and Bordeaux, who played in last weekendโs Top 14 final.
In contrast, Los Pumas boast a wealth of international experience, with captain Julian Montoya, Gloucesterโs Matias Alemanno, and flanker Pablo Matera all nearing 100 caps and available for selection.
