Zhilei Zhang Predicts Tyson Fury v Oleksandr Usyk Fight

It’s obviously a massive fight week, what are your thoughts of Fury/Usyk?

Based on what I saw on social media, both of the fighters are coming in great shape. My gut feeling is leaning towards Tyson Fury by decision.

Size maters in this division. Tyson Fury is taller, has longer reach, is more flexible.

Usyk going into the fight as the smaller man has it all to do. It’s not impossible for him, but Fury has natural advantages. I don’t think Tyson Fury even trained for Francis Ngannou.

Usyk, we saw with Dubois that bodywork can cause issues.

Some say it was a low blow, but I’d imagine Tyson will be looking to be exploit any perceived weaknesses he can.

Is there a preference on who you’d like to win, given your place in the division?

I don’t have a preference, no.

How are you feeling ahead of the clash with Deontay Wilder?

My whole priority and my focus in on June the 1st. I’m looking forward to it. Anything is possible if you dream about it. Listen, it’s going to be fireworks.

Don’t stand up, go to the bathroom on the night – anything could happen when Chinese Power is fighting Alabama Power. It’s going to be explosive.

What are your thoughts on the 5on5 concept?

It’s a new system, we have two promoters looking to prove they have the best talent. It’s going to be very exciting for fans to watch. I’m aware it’s a team event, so I won’t just be fighting for myself but for the glory of the whole team.

Who are you targeting as your next fight after Wilder?

Right know I don’t know. I’m purely focused on Wilder, he’s a dangerous guy. I can’t make the same mistakes I made last time (against Parker). Wilder is top of my list and I’m only thinking about him.

I thought you did well against Parker – unlucky not to get the decision?

In my opinion, I was too relaxed, and I was too overconfident going into that fight. You saw that I danced in my corner when I dropped him in the third round. I was way too relaxed.
