The Big Boxing Acca is back with a massive 46/1 shot from Saturday night in Nottingham and California

We’re strong advocates of going big or going home here at and we aren’t in the business of the latter.

It’s a 46/1 shot in this weekend’s Big Boxing Acca as we line up a treble from Nottingham to California.

46/1 Boxing Acca for Saturday

We've combined three big picks for a huge acca on Saturday night

Leigh Wood to beat Mauricio Lara by Decision or Technical Decision

Leigh Wood may be a 2/1 underdog in Nottingham, but we have a sneaky suspicion that the underdog will bite on home turf.

Mauricio Lara is being sold as this mega-puncher who will walk through fire, but, in all honesty, we have only seen this in one fight against Josh Warrington.

Lara still took nine rounds to stop the “Leeds Warrior” despite hurting him early and with Wood proving his chin in previous outings, we wouldn’t be surprised if “Leigh-thal” took this the entire 36 minutes.

Wood shows more technical ability than Lara. If the Mexican becomes frustrated by a lack of openings, then we could see Wood dominate this fight off the back foot.

The Nottingham fighter has won his last two fights by stoppage in the 12th round, but lightning Leigh surely can’t strike three times?

A disputed win on the cards for Wood is a huge price and impossible to turn down against the unproven Lara.

Luis Nery to beat Azat Hovhannisyan by KO, TKO or Disqualification

Luis Nery is one of boxing’s more divisive characters and is yet to achieve his full potential.

The 28-year-old southpaw is 33-1 and has responded well after being stopped by Brandon Figueroa in 2021, handing him a solitary loss.

Azat Hovhannisyan is 34 and probably over the hill. He’s got an exciting style which should blend well with Nery, but we’re expecting the Mexican to win the majority of the trade-offs.

Nery has a 74% KO rate and the Armenian challenger hasn’t fought anyone with the power of Nery.

Dalton Smith to beat Billy Allington in Rounds 1-6

Dalton Smith is one of Britain’s next big stars.

The 26-year-old is 13-0 and just two more wins away from winning the British super-lightweight title outright.

Billy Allington is his 14th opponent and pretty inexperienced at this high level. The Egham fighter has just two wins in his last five outings and is in danger of drowning early against Smith.

Smith has 10 KOs in his 13 wins and another early stoppage – to add to his nine within six rounds – looks likely on the Wood-Lara undercard.
