Brentford v Nottingham Forest – Over 2.5 goals

Brentford have enjoyed a brilliant campaign to date, and they still have an outside chance of qualifying for Europe, but they will have to be faultless in their final five matches.

Oh, and let’s not forget Brighton, who are a spot above the Bees in eighth spot, have three games in hand.

Conversely, Nottingham Forest are trying to keep their heads above water, and only a better goal difference has ensured they are ahead of East Midlands rivals Leicester.

Brentford and Forest shared the points in their first Premier League meeting at the City Ground back in November in an entertaining 2-2 draw, and this game could be laden with goals too.

For my first pick, I have sided with the Over 2.5 goals section, which is available at a short 10/11.

Sunderland v Watford – Over 3.5 goals

Sunderland are one of the in-form teams in the Championship, with three wins and two draws from their past five outings.

The Black Cats have also been fairly prolific compared to the other teams occupying the play-off spots, netting 63 times, but they have also leaked 53 goals, two more than Watford.

There is never a dull moment when these two sides meet as judged by their 2-2 draw back in September.

Here is hoping for more of the same, and my second pick is for the Over 3.5 goals line to be met, which is trading at a longer 12/5.

Bristol City v Burnley – Over 2.5 goals

The party atmosphere is showing no signs of being quelled anytime soon for champions Burnley.

Arguably, Vincent Kompany’s charges have taken their foot off the gas lately, winning just one of their four games.

But they have a chance to surpass the 100-point barrier in their last two games if they pick up six points, and Bristol City can let their hair down as they are safe.

This could be a cracker, and once again, the Over 2.5 goals line is paying odds of 10/11.

Peterborough United v Bristol Rovers – BTTS

Peterborough are desperately trying to sneak into the play-offs, and they could still pip Derby come the final day.

The Posh have produced some excellent results, but fallen flat in the next game, with the defeats against Cambridge and Ipswich cause for concern.

Bristol Rovers, however, will want to prove a point after losing their last three on the trot.

This could be a tight clash, but one in which both teams could score, and my final pick is a short 4/5 price.
