Rugby Betting Tips
Here are our two tips for Wednesday's clash in Brisbane between the Queensland Reds and the British & Irish Lions.
British & Irish Lions Tips
The British & Irish Lions kicked off their 2025 tour with a convincing 54-7 win over the Western Force, running in nine tries.
However, their next match against the Queensland Reds on Wednesday represents a clear step up in opposition.
The Reds made the Super Rugby playoffs and boast nine Wallabies in their squad, along with former All Blacks Alex Hodgman and Jeffery Toomaga-Allen.
That said, they are missing key players, notably half-backs Tate McDermott and Tom Lynagh, as well as Wallabies skipper Harry Wilson, which significantly weakens their spine.
Queensland Reds - First Half Handicap +13.5
The Lions have made almost wholesale changes from the Perth fixture, with only Finn Russell keeping his starting role.
Thereโs less continuity in Wednesdayโs line-up, and a long 2,000-mile flight across two time zones means preparation time has been limited.
While the Lions ultimately pulled away comfortably in the opener, they were pressured early by the Force and will need to tighten their discipline and accuracy.
The handicap line has grown to around 30 points, but the Reds, even understrength, may be competitive early on before the Lionsโ superior depth takes over in the second half.
A good betting angle could be backing the Reds to stay within 13 points at halftime, capitalising on their early energy.
Lachie Anderson to score a try
A decent shout for an anytime try scorer on Wednesday is Lachie Anderson to cross the whitewash at some point during the match.
The Reds winger has been on fire in 2025, racking up eight tries in the Super Rugby season, including a stunning four-try blitz against the Fijian Drua.
His sevens background gives him serious pace and awareness, and with several Reds stars missing due to Wallabies duty, Anderson is expected to be heavily involved in their attacking plays.
Whether it's a counter-attack or a slick move out wide, Anderson knows how to finish, and he's likely to see plenty of ball.

Rugby Acca Betting Tips
With rugby matches taking place throughout the year, itโs an ideal sport to place an Acca on. Here we will take a look at the list of games taking place and find the best bets of the day, putting them together in an Acca so you can keep ahead of the action.
Singles are sometimes not worthwhile on rugby due to the odds on specific teams, but like with football, an Acca on rugby is a great way to bypass that and still get a good return if you manage to land a winning bet.
