The Czech Republic and Turkey will conclude Group F matters when they collide on Wednesday evening in Hamburg at Euro 2024.

Turkey were off the pace against Portugal last weekend, as they capitulated to a 3-0 defeat, but they are still in the hunt to qualify for the Round of 16.

We’ve looked at some of the best football betting offers, odds and markets from our range of football betting sites to provide you with Czech Republic v Turkey betting tips.

Czech Republic v Turkey Match Preview

The Czechs were forced to settle for a point against Georgia, who are the lowest-ranked side in the tournament, and it was a breathless encounter.

One note of concern for Turkey was that goalkeeper Mert Gunok didn’t train with the rest of the squad over the weekend due to a knee complaint, so he will be monitored ahead of the game.

It is likely to be a vociferous atmosphere inside the Volksparkstadion, but who will be punching their ticket to the knockout stages?

I have delivered a full match preview along with a couple of Czech Republic betting tips.

Czech Republic betting tips - Turkey to hit back hard

There will have been a full on inquest and plenty of introspection in the Turkish camp after their dismal display against Portugal.

Error-strewn from start to finish, this was encapsulated by Samet Akaydin’s no-look back pass to the goalkeeper from outside the box which rolled over the line for what was a comic own goal.

Turkey had inflicted on them their 11th defeat in the group stages of the European Championships, while this marked Portugal’s joint-highest victory at this level, equalling the 3-0 wins over Croatia (1996), Germany (2000), and Hungary (2020).

The Czechs, meanwhile, trailed at half-time against Georgia, despite attempting more shots than their opponents (11 for and two against), but it was an ill-disciplined game with nine yellow cards awarded during the 90 minutes.

The head-to-head shows there is nothing separating between the Czech Republic and Turkey with five wins and one draw apiece from 11 clashes, but to kickstart the Czech Republic vs Turkey betting tips, I’m going to go with Turkey to win & BTTS which is available at a tasty 10/3 with BetVictor.

Turks to do things the hard way

With qualification on the line, nothing is ever straightforward, and nerves will be shredded.

Turkey may have a two-point buffer going into their final group game in second spot, and the onus will be on them to get the job done.

Perhaps they needed teenage sensation Arda Guler on from the start as opposed to the final 20 minutes of the game to sprinkle his stardust, and he can shake things up.

Anyway, to accompany my original tip, I’ve been a bit bolder with my second pick and gone with Turkey to win from behind in regulation time, which is trading at a longer, but no less enticing price of 12/1 with BetVictor.
