The Faltering French
If there is one thing to further highlight the inefficiencies of English officials, it is the ability to compare them against their European counterparts at a major tournament and after Friday’s draw between the Netherlands and France, those inefficiencies have once again been highlighted.

Thankfully for the 2018 World Cup winners they soon come up against a nation that has already packed its bags and is waiting to check out of Germany. The nation in question is Poland and without being too harsh, they have not had any answers at this tournament.
Defeat in their opening group stage game versus the Netherlands was then followed up by the same outcome against Austria on Friday and where the French have stuttered without the services of Mbappe, the same can be said for Poland and Robert Lewandowski’s lack of fitness.
But now it is time for the first of my two tips and because Poland have nothing to play for, this should be a routine win for Les Blues. The routine here is a second group stage win and a total of under 2.5 goals at odds of 13/5.
In addition to this, I am going to suggest that France keep their powder dry for the Round of 16. Therefore, I am going to back a bore draw at the interval and then a narrow 1-0 win at the rather tempting price of 10/1.
