Katarina Johnson-Thompson Odds - Olympic Heptathlon Athletics Paris 2024 Olympics Betting
Katarina Johnson-Thompson starts her quest for an Olympic gold medal on Thursday morning having fallen short in her previous two attempts to follow in the footsteps of Jessica Ennis-hill.
The heptathlete did not finish in Tokyo three years ago, having finished in sixth place in Rio despite going into the event as one of the favourites, but she was crowned world champion last year in Budapest so goes into the event with some form.
Two-time gold medallist Nafissatoi Thiam goes into the race as comfortable favourite with UK betting sites for the even which ends on Friday.

Katarina Johnson-Thompson Medal Chances
While she is up there with the favourites, Katarina Johnson-Thompson is expected to have her work cut out if she wants to end up on top of the podium.
She does have good form coming into the competition, having won the World Championships in Budapest last year but the current favourite, Nafissatou Thiam, is leading the odds markets and it would take something special to overcome the back-to-back gold medallist.
Notably, Thiam didn’t compete in Budapest when Johnson-Thompson was victorious so she must done something she hasn’t been able to do since the 2019 World Championships.
Despite an illustrious career, Johnson-Thompson has so far been unable to medal at the Games so that would represent a serious achievement considering the competition she faces.
