Norwich v Leeds Match Preview
Back-to-back wins to nil for Leeds looked to have them back on firm footing after a slow start to the season, but they've been dealt a significant blow with the injury to Ethan Ampadu.
The captain has been an influential figure both in midfield and at the back since joining the Peacocks and the news that he will be out until January is not welcome.
With the likes of Ao Tanaka and Joe Rothwell they have midfield replacements that fans have been calling out to see more of, but it's the shortage of defensive cover that will cause nerves around Elland Road.
Max Wober is out for six weeks - it would actually be a surprise if he plays for the club before a potential January departure - which means with Liam Cooper leaving in the summer, there is no senior defensive cover for Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk, who has recently been suffering with injury.
With tricky away trips to Norwich and Sunderland this week, that couldn't have come at a worse time but there have been signs that Leeds are just starting to get into their groove.
Wins over Cardiff and a struggling Coventry are hardly significant, but Leeds are getting through games while barely breaking sweat and have an attack that is gelling more and more.
The Canaries will be full of confidence themselves having won impressively at Derby on Saturday with Borja Sainz netting a treble, but you suspect they would be happy to claim a point here.
Farke has also shown that he has a pragmatic side to him too, so a draw could end up being a decent point on both sides, though if there were to be a winner I would side with Leeds.
I'm playing it safe with my first tip though, and a draw with BTTS at 15/4 is catching my eye at BetVictor.
Secondly, with Sainz and Joel Piroe both leading the way in front of goal for their respective teams, a double on the two of them to strike again at 15/1 with bet365 represents excellent value.
