T20 World Cup Betting Preview

India begin the tournament as favourites, and rightfully so given their talented line up. They have the ability to take wickets with both pace and spin, while they also pack one of the most attacking and dynamic batting line ups in the world.

England are another team with a top quality batting line up that can really wow the crowds. Questions for England are all around their spin attack, will this work? If it does, they look to have a team that is just as complete as the Indian line up.

The West Indies have been there and done it all before, winning the tournament on two occasions. They’ve got a very experienced squad, which may come in useful given the pressure that the players will be under here.

While you can never discount Australia, the fact is that many of their players have not played too much cricket over the past 18 months due to travel restrictions. On top of that, moving to Asia makes this a much tougher task for them than it would have been on home soil.

New Zealand are another team who would have preferred the original venue of Australia for the tournament. There is also the feeling that this team needs to develop a little more, they’ve lost some experience, and the new players on this team may need another year before they can come out and dominate.
