Royal Challengers Bengaluru have had an absolute nightmare. Time and time again, they look strong on paper but prove to be wafer thin on grass. One win and six defeats from seven games has left them rooted to the foot of the table.
With seven games to go, they simply have to reverse that stat to have any chance of a top four finish. But even six wins from seven may not be enough.
I’m actually quite surprised that Kolkata, with four wins from six and looking good, aren’t shorter priced than 8/11 to beat RCB with betfair. I actually think that represents a degree of value.

I’ll give you two Ladbrokes prices here - both on success for KKR players.
The first is their 1/1 on Sunil Narine to hit a six and take a wicket. The West Indian has hit 20 sixes and taken seven wickets opening the batting and bowling his spinners. He hit seven sixes in 109 opening the batting added to two wickets in a defeat to Rajasthan earlier this week.
Mitchell Starc has had a mixed tournament, the Australian quick taking five wickets in six appearances. He’s actually gone wicketless four times. But he’s a quality bowler and has taken hauls of three-for and two-for so far.
I’d be very interested in the Ladbrokes price boost of 15/8 on him to take two wickets in this morning match.
William Hill also have a 4/1 shot on Phil Salt to hit over 22 runs for Kolkata and spinner Varun Chakravarthy to take one wicket. They have hit 201 runs and taken seven wickets respectively so far. That’s definitely worth taking on.
