Grand National (5.15pm, Saturday)
The Grand National is going to be especially emotional for Peter Scudamore given that his son, Thomas, rides Cloth Cap (6/1 with BetVictor).
There is more than just emotion at play for Scu when it comes to the chances of the favourite though as he tells the Inside Angle, “Cloth cap has a quite outstanding chance.”
Scu says that he is most frightened of Burrows Saint and Any Second Now, both of whom have been laid out for the race.
Ed Quigley’s fancy for the race at an each way price is Anibale Fly (28/1 with Betfair) who has had a very good preparation for the Grand National and has run well twice in the race before.
