England are back in Euro 2024 action on Thursday as the second matchdays from Groups B and C get underway, with Gareth Southgate’s side taking on Denmark as they look to build on an opening win over Serbia.
However arguably the biggest and best game of the day sees Spain take on Italy in the 8pm kick-off, while Slovenia v Serbia is the third game of the day, kicking off at 2pm.

Daily Euro 2024 Acca
We take in the best of the Euro 2024 action on Thursday with our 14/1 Acca.
Serbia to Beat Slovenia & BTTS
Despite losing their opening match to England 1-0, Serbia left a solid impression, particularly in the second half where they had more possession and created two solid goal opportunities. The Eagles looked sharp in their final warm-up game ahead of Euro 2024, crushing Sweden 3-0 on the road. Therefore, I believe they have what it takes to bounce back and claim three points on Thursday. Slovenia deserve respect and can score, though.
Under 2.5 Goals in Denmark vs England
Five of England’s last seven games across competitions have ended with two goals or less. Their back line did a great job against Serbia in the Euro opener, which was their second clean sheet in the last three appearances. Four of Denmark’s last six games have seen under 2.5 goals, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see a low-scoring affair in Frankfurt. Additionally, the last four head-to-head encounters between these sides ended with under 2.5 goals.
Spain to Beat Italy
Spain were impressive in their opening match against Croatia, scoring all three goals in the first half. De la Fuente introduced many young rising stars during the qualifiers, and they are looking great with no pressure on their backs. Italy, on the other hand, barely made it to the Euro and failed to impress in their recent friendly games against Bosnia and Turkey. The Azzurri also barely secured a win in their opening clash against Albania, so we are predicting a victory for the Red Fury on Thursday.

Denmark v England
Harry Kane to Score
Kane didn’t have his best game against Serbia, he was starved of service and had to end up playing as an old-fashioned target man to give England a breather but still almost scored with his one chance of the game.
Only a brilliant save and the crossbar prevented him from another goal at a major tournament, but with 12 to his name across European Championships and World Cups he is sure to be on target at some point in Germany. He netted once against Denmark three years ago so I’m going for a repeat of that.
England/Draw Double Chance
As highlighted in our match preview and betting tips highlights how England have a tendency to draw the second group game of major tournaments under Gareth Southgate.
It is not hard to see this Denmark v England game being a repeat of that as Southgate’s guards against giving up England’s pole position in the group, so I’m not expecting a flowing, attacking performance from the Three Lions but they should still be the better side so I can’t see Denmark coming out on top.
Declan Rice Over 72.5 Passes
England struggled to keep hold of possession in the second half against Serbia, but Rice still managed to amass 77 successful passes (out of 81) in the game, and I think things should only improve from there.
Yes Denmark are likely to prove a little better in possession themselves, but everything goes through Rice from an England perspective and expect them to have enough possession for him to rack these numbers up.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to be Carded
Jude Bellingham is the obvious danger man for England, and Denmark will be trying to devise a plan to deal with the Real Madrid midfielder.
He was fouled four times by Serbia and Denmark are likely to follow a similar plan, with Hojbjerg the obvious candidate to be tasked with it. A player who was dearly loved by Jose Mourinho at Tottenham would seem a pretty decent candidate for a cynical booking anyway, but add Bellingham into the mix and I fancy this one to come through.
