PSG and Manchester City Battle for Arsenal Star in January Transfer Window

Arsenal are reportedly set to lose their star forward Alexis Sanchez in January as both PSG and Manchester City prepare huge transfer bids.

The Chile international has been the subject of much speculation in recent months, being linked with a high-profile departure from the Emirates.

Pep Guardiola has been a keen admirer of his and is set to swoop for the former Barcelona attacker next month, but he faces a battle from French giants PSG too.

Sanchez will become available for free next summer when his contract with the Gunners expires and Arsene Wenger is yet to negotiate a new deal for the sought-after Chilean.

Therefore the French boss may seek to cash in while he still can, with PSG a preferred option to Premier League title favourites and domestic rivals Man City.

The Sky Blues already failed with a £60 million offer for Sanchez in August but they are believed to be readying a fresh bid after PSG upper their interest in their top transfer target.

Sanchez has struggled for form this season despite the high interest in his services and Arsenal fans have grown frustrated over his apparent lack of commitment to the cause.

But that could soon be over as PSG and Man City battle it out for his signing in the winter market early in 2018.
