Tennis: Indian Wells Day Five Preview - 6/1 Daily Acca

It was a second straight winning acca for Team Tennis. What magic desert dust can we sprinkle in Day 5 at Indian Wells?

Madison Keys v Alison Riske

After having a great start to the Australian season, it has been a bit of a struggle for Keys to get going and she did well to come back and win her first round in three sets.

On the flip side though, Alison Riske came back from 0-6 0-3 down to stun Garbine Muguruza.

But Keys (3/7) has a solid record over Riske save for their first meetng back in the ITF levels and although Riske got a serious scalp in the previous round, we feel relatively confident in this to kick off today’s Acca.

Felix Auger-Aliassime v Botic Van De Zandschulp

Apart from the most spectacular surnames on the tour just now, let’s shine a light on the other star of Canadian tennis, seeing as Denis “the Menace” Shapovalov came good for us in a toughie yesterday.

Auger-Aliassime (3/10) has always had a flashy crowd-pleasing style of tennis about him but his consistency often stayed in the locker room but a first title this season and the ATP Cup win sees the future of the ATP in some decent paws.

Iga Swiatek v Clara Tauson

While we are back on the whippersnappers, Denmark’s Clara Tauson is following n Caroline Wozniaki’s footsteps, and while she has a way to go to quite match Swiatek’s rapid rise to fame, Tauson (3/1) won her first three titles last year – and she is most definitely one to watch for the future.
